For this project, DAE was engaged to assist the Village of River Grove in relocating their outdated library to a new site. The new location, was an abandoned grocery store, which presented several challenges. Extensive modifications were required to repurpose the building to meet the library’s specific needs. However, the ample space available allowed for creative solutions. DAE worked closely with the library board to ensure the design was not only visually appealing but also practical for the library's daily operations. By incorporating modern materials, finishes, and design principles, DAE successfully exceeded expectations while staying within the allocated budget.
